legendary
earlier in the night, yan was pointing out how the younger ones were the future, the future of yd, the church, sydney, australia and the world. it was awesome to have the ability to clap, scream, jump, bow and sing for our God with no shame of having a throat that was sorely dying but just to release the reverence we feel towards Him.
God also pushed me forward in my leadership, i did take a step forward tonight. And i'm thankful that i did.
oh and let us not forget the head-banging and moshing we partook of. i hope to see more nights of passionate worship, not just physically but spiritually. "And God saw that it was good" Genesis 1:9

argh.
so in the midst of studying for my modern history exam tomorrow, i've altered the layout of my blog, as you can observe it's 'stretchy' now, and i feel kind of weird opening such a loosey-goosey mindset considering it was co-operating before. anyhow, what do you think? i'm unsure, it seems messy to me. BUT I LIKE THAT THE IMAGE SIZES HAVE NO BOUNDARIES! muahha, so here's a few:
you me at six = going to see them in september. they are awesome
julian & andy = amazing
boots. i want those boots.
new york city. i shall conquer you a few years time.
absolute glee.
my exam schedule. :'(
made this on sunday, black spray paint, $7.99 box/frame, wire, white paint. oh yeah, that's my favourite quote ever!
oh switchfoot, i must see thee.
some of my studio/office/haven/bedroom. ha. yeah cbb rotating that for you, sorry.
that's where i study. man my room is really messy :S
LOVE146
LOVE146 is an organisation put towards the abolition
of child sex slavery and exploitation. nothing less.
there's something about the notion of 'love' that i'm about. my faith in Christ is based upon the
foundations of love. how His love saved me, and how by sharing His love with others helps those living in
the dark see the light.
we need to be exposed and made aware of the issues occurring in this world. why? i believe it helps to
stir us into running after God's calling. it may not be aligned with LOVE146 or slavery in general, maybe He's
calling you for something completely different. Either way, let's get the bigger picture: let's pray, let's stand
in the gap and fight for the powerless, the hopeless, the loveless.

and all that comes to mind
anyhow, i've concluded for the day, and i conclude with a notion dreaming to see young people passionate for Christ. maybe its just because i'm ageing and my views of the younger have changed from when i was their age, or i'm being too analytical. but it kills me when i know they're not walking properly with Christ (and it's spiritual suicide when my heart isn't right), if not walking at all. but all in due time, that's what i'm praying for. wow, imagine our generation if we all knew Christ. and another that comes to mind.. oh, i'll leave that for next time.

wolverine:
you'll have to click the two images if you can't see what it says. but this is following the murders of wolverine's family and some of the greatest marvel heroes. man o' man. i want to invest in these comics.
MARVEL: YOU ARE AMAZING
preparatory to The Avengers film in 2012,
the great people of hollywood and marvel have been and are releasing films of some of the great marvel heroes and connecting them in this epic film in which i simply cannot wait for.
the cast:
Jeremy Renner …Clint Barton / Hawkeye
Edward Norton …Bruce Banner
Robert Downey Jr ….Tony Stark / Iron Man
John Krasinski …Steve Rogers / Captain America
Scarlett Johansson …Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow
Chris Hemsworth …Thor
Samuel L. Jackson …Nick Fury
Don Cheadle …Col. James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes / War Machine
Tom Hiddleston …Loki
Lou Ferrigno …The Incredible Hulk (voice)
so as you can see, a list of some amazing actors.
lately we’ve had the Ironman movies released (with Ironman 2 which has Black Widow) and the Incredible Hulk film (of edward norton and lou ferrigno - the original hulk).
in 2011 we’ve got a Thor film coming out, starring home and away dude, a Captain America film, with the guy from The Office and a Nick Fury film starring Samuel L. Jackson.
yep. i’m pretty sure i’m going to pee my pants. this is more epic that the LOTR triology for me. oh sweet gypseys. i cannot wait.

and the honeymoon is over.
the settling of relationships brings me great uncertainty. sometimes i don't know how to respond or communicate to a person once you've passed on from the romantic stage of a friendship, if you understand what i mean (if you don't, you're an ug-bug). there are certain friendships that i'm never sure of, that i'm never sure exist, that i'm never sure are as strong as i assume. i'm never sure when it comes down to it.
i've also been torn to pieces today. Will showed me 'he loves us' by .. i'm too lazy to mention. and the lyrics absolutely tore me to pieces, as well as the underlying meaning of the song. oh how we take for granted the crazy, redeeming, life-changing, world shaking, mind boggling love that our God has. it drives me insane to try and form some kind of definition of why he's so faithful ... but i can't, that's why He's God.

why do i love history?
it's because i never want to forget the sacrifices and risks our ancestors made before us - shaping & expanding society as we know it, i never want to let go of the heroes and heroines that battled for a nation, that fought for honour and in all their pain and suffering, provided hope to a generation with the inability to defend themselves. i want to take on the legacy they left behind.
sure, when you look back at history, with a plain mind, you see corruption and greed for wealth and omnipotence of governments and empires. however, i can't help but be proud of our defenders. it gives me hope. it gives me another reason for my existence. i may not be fighting a physical war, i may not be risking my life for a greater cause, i may not be in insufferable conditions where every step, flinch and movement is as great a risk as being point-blank of the enemy, but that's why i love history. it humbles me with the reminders it gives of the heroes and leaders who looked to us, who fought for our generation to not have to suffer and sacrifice as they willingly did.
in one aspect, we were their greater cause.

what's your beef?
general status update: i've spent the evening singing songs from wicked, and practising the art of rockstar. other than that, i'm irritated at a certain someone. 1. because [name] is some what ignoring me; 2. [name] is complacent with life; 3. it's kind of awkward with [name]
isn't it interesting when you realise that some friendships are just too shallow to want to bother with anymore? however, my brain then goes on to reflect on the relationships i've worked really hard on and ended up cementing strong ties.
should i try? why, [name] is being a dry guy. oh fly.
