art-fart-cart-start-smart-art

was at school today, yes, during the school holidays, and was working on my major for visual arts. heres a few images of my day. all in all, it was fun, nick and i (pictured above) spent most of our time in the dark room experimenting with our SLRs. i'm currently going through a fish-eye + vintage photograph phase. and as i have yet to develop the film from my diana, nor in possession of a fish-eye lens.. this has been adobically manipulated.

my work station. oh yeah. snacks, subway smoothie. mac. itunes. thats how i operate.

the new pimpin' chairs. my teacher customised the stools as they were bitterly cold during the winter. she also added cushioning to some of them.

some of the girls at work. that red chair on the left is a vintage barber shop find my teachers found. i don't know how they find such cool things.

[edit]: just realised i didn't 'fish-eye' that last image. oh wells.

warm+fuzzy

come chill with me + we can be friends forever. i love me some candles, one of the grandest things i collect. if there were a candle famine, or a blackout (which is more logical) i would be a clear source of light.
by the way, how cool is my owl? i have (just) named it Augustine which means great + magnificent. + this very day i have concluded that, if i were to have a son, he must be named Xavier. i'm sorry, but he's gotta be the coolest guy ever.

legendary

my, my. tonight was such an awesome night. my pessimism was revolutionised just to witness God's glory having stirred a  flame that is yet to burn brightly amongst the junior high peeps. but wow. on the way home kristine was telling us 'it was cool to see something like clapping hands was so significant' (well, something along those lines) and she was right. to be refreshed on the different aspects of worshipping our God really burned down the walls of misconception as we just let out cries of spiritual hunger and a desire for change. i really pray that it's not just hype.

earlier in the night, yan was pointing out how the younger ones were the future, the future of yd, the church, sydney, australia and the world. it was awesome to have the ability to clap, scream, jump, bow and sing for our God with no shame of having a throat that was sorely dying but just to release the reverence we feel towards Him.

God also pushed me forward in my leadership, i did take a step forward tonight. And i'm thankful that i did.
oh and let us not forget the head-banging and moshing we partook of. i hope to see more nights of passionate worship, not just physically but spiritually. "And God saw that it was good" Genesis 1:9

argh.

so in the midst of studying for my modern history exam tomorrow, i've altered the layout of my blog, as you can observe it's 'stretchy' now, and i feel kind of weird opening such a loosey-goosey mindset considering it was co-operating before. anyhow, what do you think? i'm unsure, it seems messy to me. BUT I LIKE THAT THE IMAGE SIZES HAVE NO BOUNDARIES! muahha, so here's a few:

you me at six = going to see them in september. they are awesome

julian & andy = amazing

boots. i want those boots.

new york city. i shall conquer you a few years time.
